Boilerplate

Youth in Tech is the first student-run programming and AI club founded at a school in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, by Bahrom Ashurov. What began as a basic coding class grew into an AI curriculum for more than 50 students, and later expanded into Peshraft, a volunteer organization where students design and build working software that addresses real national and international problems — including tools tackling ocean plastic pollution, near-Earth object tracking, and glacier retreat visualization. The club's founder also works on emaktab.tj, an education platform supported by the Tajik government and UNESCO. Youth in Tech is now working toward one of the first AI prototypes to originate in Tajikistan.
